FIAT CRYSLER AUTOMOBILE SALES RISE 2% IN UNITED STATES

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) said Wednesday that its auto sales in the United States rose by an annualized 2% in March, its best showing for the month since March 2007.
The company sold 197,261 vehicles last month and said it was the 60th consecutive month to show an annual increase in sales.
"March was a difficult month, but we still managed to record the 60th consecutive month of growth," said Reid Bigland, sales manager for FCA in the US.
Jeep brand sales were up 23% and and Chrysler brands rose by 15%. However, sales of its Fiat brand in the US - including the Fiat 500 and Fiat 500L - fell in March by 5% compared with the same period last year.
